How far can the camera be from the monitor?
About 36 ft for the R50 and 30 ft of mounting distance for the V29, in a clear line. Metal between them shortens the range.
Does the R50 need sunlight to work?
No. The 9600mAh battery runs it for up to 24 hours; the solar panel just keeps it topped up. Charge it with the Type-C cable in a dark season.
Can I add a second backup camera?
Yes, both systems have a second channel. The V29 shows the two cameras in split screen.
Will the magnets scratch my paint?
The R50 sits on a rubber base designed to protect the paint. Wipe grit off the surface before you place it.
Do the baby car cameras need batteries?
No. Both run from the car — the cigarette lighter socket or a USB port — and switch on with the engine.
Can I use the baby camera in two cars?
Yes. Unstrap the camera, lift the monitor off the suction mount and plug it into the other car.
Is the monitor glare-proof in sunlight?
The IPS and LCD screens have adjustable brightness; tilt the monitor slightly away from the windshield on very bright days.
